Travel By Tips is an independent travel blog dedicated entirely to Morocco. Our goal is simple: to help you plan a better trip with clear, practical and honest Morocco travel guides, from your first evening in Marrakech to a night under the stars in the Sahara.

Why We Started Travel By Tips
Morocco is one of the most rewarding countries to visit, but it can also be confusing the first time: busy medinas, long distances, haggling, train and bus choices, desert tours of very different quality. Much of the information online is either too general or written to sell a tour. We wanted to create a place where travellers find the practical details that actually matter, explained simply.
What You Will Find Here
- Destination guides to cities, towns and regions: Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, Essaouira and many lesser-known places.
- Desert and mountain guides covering the Sahara dunes of Erg Chebbi and Erg Chigaga, and the High Atlas valleys and treks.
- Practical travel tips on transport, budget, culture and etiquette, food, shopping and the best time to travel.
How We Write Our Guides
Every guide is written to answer the questions travellers really ask: how do I get there, how long should I stay, when is the best season, where should I sleep and what should I avoid? We check facts that change often, such as entry rules, transport and opening times, and we prefer to describe them generally rather than publish figures we cannot confirm. When something changes, we update the article.
Our photos come from our own library or from free-licence photo sites, and we always credit the photographer. You can read more in our editorial policy.
Independent and Reader-First
Travel By Tips is not a tour operator and does not sell trips. Our recommendations are based on what we believe is useful to travellers. If we ever include sponsored content or affiliate links, we will say so clearly. See our disclaimer for details.
